Convention Process Training

with

 Clint Moore and Valoree Swanson

We all know about the Repubican National Convention held every 4 years, but did you know that a convention is held in your own precinct immediately after the election on primary night?  With the upcoming Republican primary approaching, it is important that grassroots activists become familiar with the entire convention process.  This convention process is what the Republican Party of Texas uses to build its platform and elect party leaders.

With all of the "change" taking place in our country, participation in this process by conservatives is more important than ever!  Clint Moore and Valoree Swanson represent Senate District 7 at the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC).  Both have been involved in Republican grassroots activism for many years.  You won't want to miss Clint and Valoree's presentation on the convention process and how to get involved.

"A nation without borders is not a nation" - President Ronald Reagan

The Cherry Tree Republicans club is an organization devoted to upholding the ideals of the Republican Party of Texas Platform.  The focus of the Cherry Tree Republicans is on conservative, pro-family issues. The Cherry Tree Republicans support this platform by providing a forum for individuals to discuss and learn about important, current issues, and by actively supporting candidates who will defend the existing conservative platform.

The Cherry Tree Republicans are dedicated to helping members of the local community learn about and participate in political activities. Monthly meetings provide members and guests the opportunity to exchange perspectives on local and national issues. Furthermore, the organization provides valuable training and guidance to members who are interested in seeking elected office.
